Corner Of My Eye - Jack Davis and Crossbite

Caught a glimpse in the corner of my eye
A lovely flash on the street was passing me by
It came as a surprise
when that flash left me hypnotized That was you
there in the corner of my eye

So I fell in, let the cool wind blow me along
My eyes kept time with your body moving on
My thoughts were running wild
My heart missed a beat when I saw you smile at me,
so I caught up before you were gone

(here goes nothing)
"Howdy do, good day, ain't the weather nice
Had to talk to you, had to roll my dice
Not my thing to come on so strong this way,
but you're the sweetest thing I've seen all day"
Yeah you, there in the corner of my eye

I walked you home as the sun was going down
But I did not think you would want me hanging around
So my grin got four feet wide,
and a bomb went off when you said "come on inside" to me
I went in and left the ground
