Show him how to fetch a stick 
More value than a toy he'll master every trick 
Teach me responsibility 
And gives me someone for play 
If you buy him for me I'll walk him every day

And come here when I call you 
After all you're a dog

But now my backyard is a mess 
And you're twice the size you were 
You'll have to stay outside this place covered in fur 
Your novelty is wearing off 
Taking over social life
