Pressure Spiral - QandA

I remember when the hours weren't enough, deadlines stacking up
Like chairs in a bonfire, my judgment running thin
I didn't know which ones to save or which ones to leave in

I felt the bigger were my goals, the happier I'd be
So I trapped myself in Everest-quests, and no one set me free
Even the boss-man let me do it. You know he had a lot to win
But he wasn't there to catch me when I tripped and stumbled in

I fell down to the water
It was much harder than I ever dreamed
And so cold it froze the pain away until I woke up and screamed

I fell down to the water
It was much harder than I ever dreamed
And so cold it froze the pain away until I woke up and screamed

Since the day I left that mountain, I have opted for the coast
For many years I've wandered, disappearing like a ghost
What I've found in simple silence is the self I never knew
But what's good enough for me might not be good enough for you

I fell down to the water
It was much harder than I ever dreamed
And so cold it froze the pain away until I woke up and screamed
